How can I know the relay or trim motor is bad?
Remove the wires for the trim relay from run the trim motor directly off of battery. if it trims up and down the relay is most likely bad, means you need to replact it.
To prolong the service time, you can clean the brushes and armature to avoid foreign matter exist after a long time use.
What can I do if the plug doesn't fit well?
Due to different trim motors, you can change the plastic electrical plug end, cut and joint the old plug into the new solenoid to get fit.
