This fuel injection pump detector is a professional tool to test the compression in gasoline engine fuel injector system. The readings will help to diagnosis if there are kink/leak/clog on inlet/outlet side components, a detective fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator, low tank pressure. Gasoline is highly flammable, please ensure no open flames nearby and operate by professional. This fuel injector pressure tester is suitable for most gasoline engine fuel injection systems except: Bosch, CIS Jetronic, Throttle Body Systems on GM vehicles. As the scale range for the meter is only 140PSI, the tester is not suitable for diesel high pressure fuel injection pump and high pressure fuel track on direct-injection engine. There are several parts to implement 2 types connection methods. Use the specialized parts and hose to connect pressure gauge directly to fuel pump's standard Schrader / M6 / M8 / M10 / M12 / M14 fuel pressure test port. Or use T type parts insert in-line between the fuel pump and engine for most other vehicles. No small Schrader connector, do not compatible for part Ford vehicles with small Schrader service port The pressure gauge uses metal gauge head with shockproof rubber cover, 3-1/2" big dial with clear dual scale range 0-140 PSI and 0-10 Bar. Compared to a large range, this oil pressure gauge is easy to read about 1-2 Bar with a short range. The 2 hoses are made of rubber nylon resin and the length are 15" 8", with working pressure is 300 PSI. There is a drain hose with pressure release valve to recycle the fuel. The connectors are made of brass and aluminium, featured with high hardness, rustless, durable and good air sealing. Package List
