This Yellow Onion Set of 5 Pound of 'baby' onion or bulbs, is used to grow Early Green Table Onions and Large Dry Onions. These grow best in a fertile soil that is well drained. A window box or container can be used if you do not have a garden. Always plant these in full sun.
To grow Green Table Onions from this set you will need to Plant Set With Roots Down In A Row With Sets As Close As Possible To Each Other and 2-3 Inches Deep. Deep Planting Produces More White Edible Stems. Delicious, High Quality Onion Will Be Ready For Harvesting Within 3 to 4 Weeks.
To grow Large Dry Onions plant in a row 3 inches apart and only deep enough so top is barely covered or just visible. Late in summer when leaves have withered, dig up onions and allow to dry in the open air for a few days. Preserve the onions indoors in a cool dry place.
