In Shakespeares hometown -- Stratford, a boy named Nick was kidnapped by the director of the troupe. Nick was born with a good voice, so very soon he was noticed in the chorus, and got a glorious opportunity for singing for the Queen and he also got to know some famous people. Nick experienced many adventures, witnessed grief at separation and joy in reunion, and tasted sweets and bitters of life. However, he still felt that his home was warmest and hoped to return to his mothers embrace as soon as possible. In the book, there are not only wonderful adventure stories, but also description of two distinguished people -- Queen Elizabeth and Shakespeare -- such a description is simple, but it is deep and moving.
