Our Cat6A Extra Large RJ45 plugs are to be used with unshielded (U/UTP) Ethernet cables, both stranded and solid conductors. The pass through design is where your frustration level will come down and success rate will increase. If you have ever dealt with the old style push-in or push-in with load bar plugs, then you know what we mean.

After stripping the cable jacket off and combing out the individual conductors, simply line up the conductors into the correct T568A or T568B color sequence and push them through the nose of the connector. Everything look good? If the wiring sequence is still correct, now pull. Use the push-pull method to help eliminate kinking of the conductors inside the plug and get the cable jacket up as far as possible into the rear of the connector. Using our All in One Crimp and Termination Tool, crimp and terminate the plug onto your cable. The conductors are shaved off, and the plug is ready to go. Onto the next one!

If you have a crimp and termination tool that do not shave off the conductors automatically, no big deal. Simply terminate the plug as you usually do and then flush cut the excess from the nose of the plug. Double check to make sure you do not leave any conductors protruding.
